In Depression-era south Philadelphia, 12-year-old Gennaro (Jerry Barone) wants desperately to attend the grand opening of the new neighborhood movie theater. Problem is, he's short the 25-cent admission price. So, Gennaro spends the day trying to earn the two bits and learns some valuable life lessons along the way. Al Pacino and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio costar and Alec Baldwin narrates this nostalgic drama from director James Foley.
